Gitti's recommendation for pleasure cyclists:
Circular Trail - E-Bike Edition
The starting point of this circular route is the Siggen Inn at the entrance to the Obersulzbach valley. From there, the route runs to the left over the wooden bridge that crosses the Obersulzbach, and then continues into the valley on the right side of the Obersulzbach. On a well-maintained forest path, the route now heads towards the Hopffeldboden parking lot, which can be reached by e-bike in about half an hour. Once at the parking lot, the route leads in another thirty minutes in the direction of Berndlalm. Along the serpentines of the densely wooded path there are many opportunities to explore the wild Obersulzbach and its "valley of red stones".
The viewpoints to the Seebach waterfall and to the Gamseck fall are also beautiful to see; on the latter, the staircase running downwards next to the signposting grants a picturesque view. Arrived at the Berndlalm (1514 m above sea level), there is the first possibility of a small refreshment. But also the adjacent petting zoo is a pleasure for young and old and is worth a detour. Very motivated sportsmen can continue further into the valley in the direction of the Postalm and enjoy the magnificent view of the Großer Geiger and the sugared Hohe Tauern on the way there. To reach our second destination, the Kampriesenalm, the route runs for about five minutes along the already familiar path out of the valley until a wide two-lane path branches off on the right, which is clearly visible from a distance.
Turned there, the desired destination is already behind the next hill. After the short ride there is now another opportunity to enjoy typical alpine delicacies. After a long rest, you return to the main trail, which continues out of the valley. For a bit of variety, you can turn right after the barrier in the direction of the suspension bridge and push the bike over the wild Obersulzbach. This not only gives you the opportunity to overlook the large streambed from above, but also to make a stop at Blausee lake on the way out of the valley. From there you can reach the starting point at Gasthof Siggen in just a few minutes by e-bike.
