The Wildkogel Slide Trail turns a leisurely hike into a real adventure for children. From the middle station of the Wildkogelbahn in Neukirchen, the route heads downhill – with plenty of thrilling sections along the way.
Along the way, there are 10 stainless-steel slides, some up to 53 metres long. With your slide mat, you’ll whizz through tubes, over waves and through troughs – making hiking twice as much fun.
The trail is ideal for families looking to spend a varied summer’s day in the mountains: short walking sections, beautiful views, plenty of places to take a break and loads of action.
Good to know:
The slide trail is open during the Wildkogelbahn’s operating hours and in suitable weather conditions. It starts at the middle station and ends at the Gasthof Stockenbaum. Slide mats are compulsory and can be hired at the middle station. Suitable for children aged 6 and over and at least 130 cm tall.
